Elizabeth Milligan is the owner and principal designer at EM Interiors. Having grown up in Charlottesville, Virginia, she was profoundly influenced by the classical architecture of the University of Virginia, Monticello, and the many historic homes in Albemarle County and the surrounding areas. Elizabeth loved visiting antique shops, auctions, museums, art galleries, and open house tours of local important houses and gardens. Over the years her love of design progressed and she pursued a career in the field after her children had completed high school.

Helping her clients define their own style, guiding them through the design process, and collaborating on finding unique furniture, furnishings and objects d’art are Elizabeth’s passions. Seeing clients’ joy at their transformed interiors is her greatest reward
